PGB to reach more Bulakenyos through Sine Bulakenyo

SINE BULAKENYO. Congressman Jose Antonio “Kuya Jonathan” R. Sy-Alvarado of the first district of Bulacan participates in the Sine Bulakenyo, an information campaign program of the Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Provincial Public Affairs Office, that reaches out, educates and entertains the residents of Brgy. Taliptip, Bulakan, Bulacan, one of the barangays visited by the team.

CITY OF MALOLOS – The Provincial Government of Bulacan’s ‘Sine Bulakenyo’ project has reached and served a total of 97,850 Bulakenyos in 250 barangays in the province since its launch on May 8, 2014.

Maricel S. Cruz, head of the Provincial Public Affairs Office, the department that spearheaded the project, said that it aims to deliver this information campaign program of the PGB headed by Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado and Vice Gov. Daniel R. Fernando to the grassroots level of the community specifically, the significant programs of the government.

The said project from its title ‘Sine’ brings the public education and entertainment through audio visual presentation of the PGB’s accomplishments, the working governor, and services that people can avail from the government; and a film viewing of commercial movies that also teaches values.

Aside from these, Sine Bulakenyo also brings the residents exciting games about Bulacan where they can learn and at the same time win prizes in the raffle draw.

“Masayang naibababa ng Kapitolyo ang mga kailangang impormasyon sa mga barangay at naipapaabot ang mga programang makatutulong sa mga Bulakenyo,” Cruz said.

Cruz said that this info-drive has also reached far-flung villages in the coastal areas and in the mountain barangays of Eastern Bulacan.

Among the remote villages reached by Sine Bulakenyo includes Brgy. Tibagan in Hagonoy, Anyatam in San Ildefonso, San Pascual in Obando, and Brgys. Camachile and Bayabas in Doña Remedios Trinidad among others.

She added that First District Congressman Jose Antonio “Kuya Jonathan” R. Sy-Alvarado sometimes join her team in the said educational-info drive.

According to the Sine Bulakenyo team of PPAO, 300-500 audiences attend each visit to barangays and 120-150 of them win raffle prizes.

Moreover, if a barangay wants to be visited by the team, all they need to do is send a request letter to the governor.

Sine Bulakenyo is also one way of letting the governor know of the situations in each barangay no matter how remote or near it is.
