Parokya ni Edgar ready to rock Singkaban Festival 2016
CITY OF MALOLOS – A night of rock music and ecstatic acts awaits thousands of Bulakenyos as one of the Philippine’s Best Rock Band, Parokya ni Edgar, is set to astound Bulacan in a free concert sponsored by Globe this coming September 10, 2016, 7pm at the Bulacan Sports Complex in this city.
The performance of the popular band that will be wrapped up with the best pyrotechnic display of fireworks is one of the highlights of the festive celebration that aims to entertain thousands of Bulakenyos through a colorful, music filled night.
Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado said that the free concert will fully enliven the festive spirit of the Bulakenyos and will add color and glitz to the celebration of the annual festival.
“Likas sa mga Bulakenyo ang pagkahilig sa musika kaya naman inihahandog natin ang libreng concert na ito sa tulong ng Globe. Isang makulay at masayang gabi ang naghihintay sa ating lahat kaya halina’t makisaya sa pagdiriwang ng Singkaban Festival,” the governor said.
Prior the main act, Bulakenyo local bands including Davo Project, Lunar Lights and Deuterium will also showcase their talents before thousands of Bulakenyos.
Globe Telecom, which is the sponsor of the concert, also expressed their gratitude to the PGB for another opportunity to be part of the annual festival.
After the concert, vibrant colors will blanket the night sky as the participants in the Aerial Fireworks Display dubbed as Pasiklaban sa Singkaban show off their world-class pyrotechnics at 10 pm.
Meanwhile, the governor reminds those who will attend the event to stay safe and keep the peace and orderliness for a happier celebration of the festivity.
