Nine Bulakenyo jobseekers get hire at Singkaban Job Fair
CITY OF MALOLOS – Nine Bulakenyo job seekers have successfully secured employment on the spot at the 2024 Singkaban Job Fair for Local Employment, organized by the Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PPESO) that took place at WalterMart Malolos in Brgy. Longos on September 13, 2024.
Out of the 238 registrants, these lucky individuals impressed the 20 participating employers and landed themselves a job right then and there.
In his message that was delivered by Tricia Salviejo, Governor Daniel R. Fernando’s representative, he encourages the participants to be the best versions of themselves.
“Mga minamahal kong kababayan, narito na ang simula ng panibagong kabanata ng inyong buhay. Umaasa ako na buong puso ninyong ipamamalas ang inyong husay, sipag at determinasyon anuman ang makuha ninyong trabaho. Ipakita ninyong karapat-dapat kayo sa ipinagkaloob na tiwala ng inyong mga employers at pagsumikapang lalo pang linangin ang inyong kaalaman at kakayahan upang maging pinakamahusay kayong bersyon ng inyong mga sarili,” Fernando said.
During the event, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) awarded various starter kits for bread and pastry making, sewing, rice retailing, and grocery packages to 30 selected beneficiaries from the parents of child laborers’ sector as part of its Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP). Another significant aspect of the fair was the distribution of livelihood grants in alignment with President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.’s mass distribution of Comprehensive Governance Assistance under the theme “Handog ng Pangulo, Serbisyong Sapat para sa Lahat.” This initiative aims to provide support and create opportunities for communities.
