More than 50 new NUP members to take oath in Bulacan
CITY OF MALOLOS – A second wave of unity and leadership is on the horizon for the Province of Bulacan as the second batch of new members of the National Unity Party (NUP) prepare to pledge their allegiance to the party that will be presided over by Governor Daniel R. Fernando, who serves as the Provincial Chairperson and Vice President for Social Development at the Cristina Hall, One Grand Pavilion Events Place & Villa, located on Blas Ople Diversion Road, today, September 27, 2024.
The incoming 50 members, representing various municipalities and cities within the province are expected to bring in their unique expertise and unwavering dedication to the table to contribute to the growth of the province.
Fernando emphasized that this gathering not only signifies a momentous occasion for the NUP, but also highlights the increasing political cohesion that is essential for sustaining the province’s progress.
“As we face the challenges ahead, it is crucial that we all work together to ensure sustainable development, responsive governance, and continued peace and order in our communities,” the governor said.
After the oath-taking ceremony, Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Gerard Nelson C. Manalo will preside the open forum addressing legal matters regarding the filing of the certificate of candidacy (COC) and certificate of nomination and acceptance (CONA). Also in attendance are Vice Governor Alexis C. Castro and the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bulacan.
