Bulacan declared a State of Stable Internal Peace and Security

CITY OF MALOLOS – Committed to fostering peace, development, and community empowerment, the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) and the Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) facilitated the Declaration of a State of Stable Internal Peace and Security (SSIPS) for the Province of Bulacan held at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center here recently, paving the way for a peaceful and secure environment for Bulakenyos.
This was ratified through Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution No. 057-S’2024, or the resolution declaring the Province of Bulacan in a State of Stable Internal Peace and Security and Ready for Provincial Development.
While celebrating this achievement, Governor Daniel R. Fernando emphasized the importance of sustaining the gains made toward peace and security.
“Sa aking mga kalalawigan, huwag nating kalimutan na ang kapayapaan ay ang pundasyon ng isang progresibo at maunlad na lalawigan. Let us not merely seek peace, let us build it. Ipagpatuloy natin ang ating pagkakaisa at kooperasyon upang mapanatili ang tagumpay na ating tinatamasa ngayon,” Fernando stated.
Also, key individuals were also present during the Signing of Affirmation and Declaration Wall including Vice Governor Alexis C. Castro, DILG Bulacan Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, Provincial Administrator Antonia V. Constantino, PDRRMO Head Manuel Lukban, Provincial Information Officer Katrina Anne Bernardo-Balingit, Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Gerard Nelson Manalo, representatives from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), the Philippine National Police (PNP), and various stakeholders who have played an integral role in securing this milestone.
Pursuant to the PPOC Resolution No. 05, Series of 2023, Bulacan is generally unaffected by communist insurgency, relatively peaceful and have strengthened its internal security mechanisms through the collaborative efforts of AFP, PNP, and PTF-ELCAC, member-agencies of the Local PPOC of Bulacan. ###
