Bulacan launches Pasyal Saya sa Kapitolyo
CITY OF MALOLOS – Bulakenyos from different walks of life have the chance to fully tour the Capitol building and other establishments within the compound through “Pasyal Saya sa Kapitolyo”.
The said program is the latest venture of the Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Provincial History, Arts, Culture and Tourism Office, which officially started last week.
Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado said that the program was launched so that Bulakenyos will be able to personally see for themselves the development that the PGB has undergone in the last nine years.
During the tour, each group of Bulakenyos will be assigned a tour guide who will accompany them as they go around the newly renovated Capitol Building and its offices, Hiyas ng Bulacan Sentrong Pangkultura, Communication, Command and Control Center (C4) at the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Bulacan Medical Center, Tatak Bulakenyo Pasalubong Center and Hardin ng mga Bayani at Sining also known as the Capitol Mini-Forest and Children’s Park where they will be entertained with Bulakenyo artists in Konsiertong Bulakenyo with different games and surprising prizes.
Pasyal Saya sa Kapitolyo is held every Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:00 pm onwards with invited audiences including but not limited to barangay officials, Sangguniang Kabataan officials, Lingkod Lingap sa Nayon, Mother Leaders, Barangay Training & Employment Coordinator, DepEd officials, principals, teachers, senior citizens, NGOs and civic and youth organizations.
According to Eugenia Nebrida, a senior citizen from the City of Malolos, it is a different experience to be touring the PGB premises.
Jenalyn Villaflor, BTEC, said the activity relieves stress.
