Bulacan achieves highest rating in DSWD service delivery assessment

CITY OF MALOLOS – The Provincial Government of Bulacan through its Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office received special recognition from the Department of Social Welfare and Development-Central Luzon for achieving Highest Rating – Level 3 in the 2022 Service Delivery Capacity and Competency Assessment (SDCCA) during the 72nd Founding Anniversary Awarding Ceremony held at the Royce Hotel, Clark Freeport, Mabalacat, Pampanga yesterday.

On behalf of Governor Daniel R. Fernando, PSWDO Head Rowena J. Tiongson received the award along with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Offices of Pulilan and Pandi which also received special recognition for achieving highest ratings as well.

Fernando said that he vows to further improve the implementation of social services programs and expresses his gratitude to the PSWDO employees and volunteers for their invaluable efforts in providing excellent service to the Bulakenyos.

“Sa panibagong pagkilala na ating nakamit para sa Lalawigan ng Bulacan, ipinapangako ko na lalo pa nating pagbubutihin ang paghahatid ng serbisyo para sa mga Bulakenyo; sinisiguro ko na maaabot natin ang bawat komunidad upang matiyak na natatanggap nila ang serbisyong nakalaan para sa kanila. Taos-puso rin ang aking pasasalamat sa ating mga kasamahang kawani sa PSWDO at lalo na ang mga volunteer na katuwang natin sa paghahatid ng mataas ba kalidad ng serbisyo para sa mga Bulakenyo,” the governor said.

With this year’s theme, “Sa Serbisyong Puso Ang Sentro, Pag-unlad Ay Sigurado!”, DSWD employees, stakeholders and partner Local Social Welfare and Development Offices (LSWDOs) were also recognized for their exemplary contribution in the field of social welfare and development. ###
