CITY OF MALOLOS, BULACAN- To discuss the ongoing and future development projects in the province, Governor Daniel R. Fernando met with San Miguel Corporation (SMC) President and Chief Executive Officer Ramon S. Ang (RSA) last Monday.
One of the topics that was brought to the table was the accessibility of the soon-to-rise New Manila International Airport in Bulakan, Bulacan to the proposed Bulacan Mega City in the municipalities of Balagtas, Bocaue, and Pandi which was presented by Pandi Mayor Enrico Roque.
According to the governor, it is necessary that such kind of development complements and harmonizes with the other developments in the province.
Meanwhile, RSA reported to Fernando two of the several proposed access roads leading to the Bulacan airport including Marilao Interchange and Tabang Interchange in Guiguinto.
On the other hand, as part of their corporate social responsibility, RSA shared that SMC is currently conducting massive dredging projects on the four major river systems in the province.

He also disclosed that the 300-hectare Bulakan Mangrove Ecopark was preserved amidst the construction of the Bulacan airport.
“Ngayon pong panahon ng tag-ulan, magandang balita po para sa mga Bulakenyo na marinig natin mula mismo kay Sir Ramon Ang, na katuwang natin sila sa paggawa ng hakbang upang maprotektahan ang ating kalikasan. Patunay po nito na kayang pagsabayin ang pag-unlad at pagpreserba ng ating mga likas na yaman,” the governor said.
