Emergency response teams in Bulacan, all set for ‘Oplan Kaluluwa 2017’

CITY OF MALOLOS – Considering the big influx of people going to the North in observance of the All Saint’s Day on November 1, the emergency response teams in Bulacan are all set to assist the motorists and give immediate emergency procedures when needed starting October 30.

The Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) – Bulacan Rescue is on standby and monitoring the primary roads going in and out of the province.

Further, Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado has instructed the Bulacan Rescue Team to coordinate with all the local government units in Bulacan through its City/Municipal DRRMOs and other non-government organizations to set up first aid stations and assume their respective command posts in their areas in view of the upcoming holiday.

“Bagaman taun-taon na nating ginagawa ang ‘Oplan Kaluluwa’, inatasan pa rin ng inyong lingkod ang ating Bulacan Rescue na makipag-ugnayan sa mga LGU upang maseguro ang kaligtasan ng mga Bulakenyo at iba pang biyahero. The personnel from the Bulacan Rescue together with Provincial Engineers Office, five NGOs, Bureau of Fire Protection and Philippine National Police will be deployed in the assistance booth and first aid station in front the Capitol Building on the said dates,” the governor said.

Meanwhile, PDRRMO Head Felicisima Mungcal reminded the public to be prepared and vigilant and advised them to immediately call the Bulacan Rescue hotline number 791-0566 in case of emergency.
