400 Business and economic stakeholders convene at Bulacan Business Forum

CITY OF MALOLOS– More or less 400 participants composed of business and economic stakeholders from within and outside the province convened at the Bulacan Business Forum held at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center in this city recently.

The event, themed “Synergizing Partnership, Advancing Innovation and Entrepreneurship”, aimed to strengthen public-private partnerships, foster inclusive innovation, and empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for resilience.

In his speech delivered by Provincial Administrator Antonia V. Constantino, Governor Daniel R. Fernando emphasized that Bulacan is poised to become a leading economic force not only in the country but on a global scale.

“Bulacan is no longer just the gateway to the north, the developments in the province will transform us into a global hub of trade, tourism, and innovation,” the governor said.

Moreover, San Miguel Corporation’s President and COO John Paul L. Ang stated how Bulacan has always been special to their company, not only because of their investments in the province, but because of its important role in the country’s growth and future.

“Years ago, when much of the development outside Metro Manila was concentrated in the South, RSA already recognized the potential of Bulacan. Beyond the strategic location, he saw the strength and spirit of its people who are known for their hard work, resourcefulness and determination,” Ang said.

Also, Gerry Santos, Founder and CEO of Mr. Tube Ice Inc. shared to the participants how he built his business from the ground up, and how he turned water into ice, and ice into gold.

“We are not concentrating on money-making. Lagi ko pong sinasabi na success is not money, success is what you have done and accomplished,” the successful Bulakenyo businessman said. The program was made possible through the joint effort of the Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office and the Bulacan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
