Tatak Singkaban ng Central Luzon earns P1M

CITY OF MALOLOS – Various quality products of Central Luzon gained popularity as the “Tatak Singkaban ng Central Luzon” sold out P1,026,214 worth of goods since its opening last September 13, 2017 located in front of the Gat Blas Ople Building, Capitol Compound in this city.

Ninety-six exhibitors from seven provinces in the region namely Aurora (Siempre Aurora); Bataan (Galing Bataan); Bulacan (Tatak Bulakenyo); Nueva Ecija(Taas Noo Novo Ecijano); Pampanga (Vida Pampanga); Tarlac (Natural Tarlac); and Zambales (Zambales’ Finest) showcase their products in the said exhibit, which will run until September 20, 2017.

According to the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office, among the products on display are bags, footwear, gifts and holiday decors, fashion accessories, apparel, home products, personal care products, novelty products and procecssed foods.

Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado said the exhibit has a big part in the promotion of the micro and small enterprises (MSEs).

“Ang Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Bulacan ay laging handang sumuporta sa ating mga SMEs kung kaya naman sa pamamagitan ng mga gawaing tulad nito, hangad natin na patuloy pang umunlad at maging matatag ang mga maliliit na negosyo sa lalawigan,” the governor said.

Meanwhile, Undersecretary Evelyn Laviña of the Department of Agriculture and Director Judith Angeles of the Department of Trade and Industry-Region 3 graced the opening day of the joint program of “Tatak Singkaban ng Central Luzon” at “Bahay Kubo, Bahay Gulay” last September 13.

Also gracing the event were some of the PCEDO heads in Region 3 and members of the Regional Cooperative Development Council among others.
