CITY OF MALOLOS – In line with the celebration of Singkaban Festival, the Provincial Government of Bulacan is set to give Bulakenyos an opportunity to be part of the workforce through a job fair come September 9 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in this city.
Hundreds of jobseekers including new graduates will troop to “Trabaho para sa Bulakenyo 2015” wherein at least 70 local and overseas companies will participate.
Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado said that the Provincial Government of Bulacan is continuously exerting its efforts to provide employment to Bulakenyos.
“We will assist in connecting new graduates to hiring companies and help the first figure out where they fit in the work force,” Alvarado said.
Available jobs to apply for include cyber services industry, banking and finance, service crew and many more.
According to Elizabeth Alonzo, head of Provincial Youth, Sports, Employment and Development Office, the program is made possible through the support and cooperation of the Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office III, Public Employment Service Office-Bulacan and Philippine Overseas Employment Administration.
“Malaking bagay po talaga ang suporta na nakukuha natin sa DOLE at POEA dahil mas nabibigyan po natin ng mas maraming oportunidad ang mga kalalawigan natin na makahanap ng trabaho,” Alonzo said.
