CITY OF MALOLOS- Kids can now make the most out of their summer vacation as the Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Provincial Youth, Sports and Public Employment Service Office opens the application for Summer Sports Clinic 2019.
Children as young as four years old can enroll in Swimming for toddlers while six years old and above can join other sport events including Aikido, Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Dancesports, Football, Gymnastics, Taekwondo, Lawn Tennis, Volleyball and Swimming.
The enrollment fee ranges from P1,500 to P2,500 depending on the sports event and they are giving 20% discount to enrollees with parents working at the PGB.
Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado encouraged parents to teach their children to be physically active and to engage in extra-curricular activities.
“Hindi dapat matapos sa apat na sulok ng silid-aralan ang pagkatuto ng ating mga anak. Mahalagang malaman nila na bagaman mahalaga ang kanilang pag-aaral ay kailangan rin nilang maglaro at makisalamuha sa kanilang mga kapwa paslit. Ang mga ganitong gawain ay lubos na makatutulong upang mabalanse ang kanilang buhay,” the governor said.
Except for the Badminton class that will be held at the Red Oil Badminton Court, all of the classes for the other sport events will be held at the Bulacan Sports Complex in Brgy. Sta. Isabel in this city.
First batch of classes for Aikido, Chess, Gymnastics, Lawn Tennis, Volleyball and Swimming will start on April 1, 2019, while the other sport events and other batches will begin on the following weeks.
