One Bulacan team ranks number one in emergency drill

CITY OF MALOLOS – The ‘One Bulacan’ team headed by the Bulacan Rescue of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office truly did not gun to become second best and emerged as the over-all champion in the 2019 Central Luzon Regional Emergency Drill 2019 held last June 18-21 in Fort Ramon Magsaysay, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija.

The said group which is composed of Bulacan PDRRMO and C/MDRRMOs of the City of Malolos and municipalities of Pulilan, Santa Maria, Pandi, and Plaridel together with the 48th Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army and Bulacan Police Provincial Office was hailed as champions in the Battle of the Brains, Mass Casualty Incident, Mountain Rugged Terrain Search and Rescue (MRTSR), Collapsed Structure Search and Rescue (CSSR), Incident Management Team (IMT) and hailed as first runner-up in Water Search and Rescue (WASAR).

Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado congratulated the Bulakenyo Rescuers for consistently adding recognitions in the name of the province in terms of rescue operation skills and excellence including preparedness and strengthened over-all regional response.

One Bulacan team trumped other competing teams from Bacolor Pampanga, Nueva Ecija and Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office.

The said event was made possible through the effort of Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council 3.
