Natives of Malolos and Santa Maria bag Hari at Reyna ng Bulacan 2016 crowns

CITY OF MALOLOS – A 19-year old candidate from the City of Malolos, Juan Ponce Fernandez, was hailed as the Hari ng Bulacan 2016 while a 21-year old Joanna Grace Intal from the town of Santa Maria was crowned as the Reyna ng Bulacan 2016 in the recently concluded Hari at Reyna ng Bulacan Coronation Night held at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in this city.
Fernandez is a freelance model and talent while Intal has worked as a technical support representative.
Other candidates who were conferred with major titles include Hari ng Bulacan WCOPA Philip Dela Cruz of San Rafael and Reyna ng Bulacan World Angelica Joy Gonzales of the City of San Jose Del Monte; Hari ng Bulacan Globe Leonard Wilson Santos of Calumpit and Reyna ng Bulacan Earth Samantha Viktoria Acosta of Pulilan; Hari ng Turismo Albert Cruz of Hagonoy and Reyna ng Turismo Veronica Bondoc of Baliwag; John Conmel Castro of Balagtas as Hari ng Bulacan Republika and Jenille Ventura of San Rafael as Reyna ng Republika; Hari ng Bulacan Planet Romualdo, Yacat Jr. of Plaridel and Reyna ng Bulacan Jewel Genesis Joy Montalbo of Bocaue.
Meanwhile, Hari ng Bulacan winners include first runner up Joshua Galang of San Rafael; second runner up Mico Arthur Ramos of Obando; third runner up John Oliver Alcoriza of the City of Malolos; fourth runner up Renzel Gigante of Bulakan; and fifth runner up Justine Quiroz of Calumpit.
Reyna ng Bulacan winners include first runner up Geri Franchesca Camargo from the City of Meycauayan; second runner up Alyssa Dela Cruz of Bustos; third runner up Edelle Rose Pilatan of Marilao; fourth runner up Marife Gonzales of San Miguel; and fifth runner up Teemee Miguel of San Ildefonso.
The winners received cash incentives, trophies and sash.
Vice Gov. Daniel R. Fernando congratulated the winners and reminded them of their duties as ambassadors and ambassadress of tourism of the province.
“Binabati ko po ang lahat ng nagwagi sa patimpalak na ito. Dapat ninyong tandaan na hindi lamang basta titulo ang inyong napanalunan bagkus ay kaakibat nito ang inyong responsibilidad bilang mga ambassador at ambassadress ng turismo ng ating lalawigan. Magiging katuwang kayo ng ating pamahalaan upang mas lalong maitanghal ang makulay at mayamang sining at kalinangan ng Bulacan,” the vice governor said.
In line with this, the Provincial History, Arts, Culture and Tourism Office together with the Ginoo at Binibining Charities, Inc. is preparing the candidates by enrolling them in various trainings to beef them up for the upcoming national pageants.
