Provincial Government of Bulacan

Fernando promotes positive patriotism, vows to protect the province’s dignity at all cost

CITY OF MALOLOS – Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando would like to instill positive patriotism and uphold the dignity of Bulakenyos as he vows to protect the province’s pride against those who are trying to tarnish its glory.

Recently, Fernando sought the attention of the owners of a public utility vehicle, a jeepney, in Bocaue town after an obscene photo of it bearing the slogan written on its stirrup that reads “Para umasenso ang Bulacan, kali**gan ay tigilan” resurfaced online and is trending anew.

The owners of the jeepney with a route from Baliwag to Malinta has issued a public apology and begged Fernando and the Bulakenyos to give them another chance to correct their slip-ups and promised to not do it again.

Meanwhile, Fernando made sure that the jeepney owners understood where he is coming from and explained that they should be proud of the province where they are residing.

The Provincial Legal Office headed by Atty. Gerard Nelson C. Manalo is now currently checking on the possible punishments for the said jeepney owners.
