CITY OF MALOLOS- Acknowledging the importance of children in shaping the future of Bulacan, Gov. Daniel R. Fernando encourages Bulakenyos to join the monthlong celebration of National Children’s Month this November mostly via Zoom and Facebook Live.
According to Rowena Joson-Tiongson, head of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, in line with this year’s theme ‘New Normal na Walang Iwanan: Karapatan ng Bawat Bata Ating Tutukan’, they will carry out the Child Development Workers Assembly and Oathtaking of newly elected officers of Provincial Federation of Child Development Workers on November 16, 2021 at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium, here.
Also, they are inviting all Local Councils for the Protection of Children (LCPC) in Central Luzon to join the LCPC Quiz Bowl on the same date and they will be required to pre-register via Google Form: https://bit.ly/LCPCQuizBowl.
The LCPC Quiz Bowl is open to all City/Municipal LCPCs. To join, participants should be one team with 3 members (two LCPC members and one child representative) wherein only one laptop/device is required per team, one zoom participant per LCPC and questions will come from Children’s Rights, Laws and Policies on Children, LCPC Functionality, Issues on Child Rights, and CFLGA-related information.
Moreover, Fernando is also encouraging Bulakenyo children and youth ages 8-19 years old who want to develop and discover their talents and abilities to join the Regional I CAN! Talent Camp on November 13-14, 2021.
“Unti-unti na tayong lumuluwag, nakakalabas na din ang mga kabataan, gawin natin silang aktibo sa mga makabuluhang mga gawain sa halip na mamasyal lang sa mall. Tulungan natin silang matuto at malinang ang kanilang talento,” Fernando said.
Interested participants may fill out the registration form until November 10, 2021 for the webinar link and instructions including Story Writing – https://bit.ly/ICTCStoryWritingClass, Dancing-https://bit.ly/ICTCDancingClass, Photo/Video Editing – https://bit.ly/ICTCPhotoVideoClass, Crocheting (Entrep Skill) – https://bit.ly/ICTCrochetingClass and Drawing/Painting – https://bit.ly/ICTCDrawingClass.
