Alvarado also mentioned about the continuous upgrading of district hospitals to provide quality health care to Bulakenyos.

Senator Cynthia Villar also graced the event as the guest speaker, where she announced the Universal Health Care Bill, an act that would provide health care coverage for all Filipinos, which was signed by President Rodrigo Duterte last February 2019.

Meanwhile, Michelle Daquigan from the City of Meycauayan and one of the beneficiaries who is soon to give birth, expressed her appreciation and gratitude to PhilHealth and PGB.

“Malaki ang matutulong nito sa panganganak ko lalung lalo na sa mga gastos sa ospital at gamot,” she said.
