Bulacan seals friendship relationship with Hunan, China

FRIENDSHIP ESTABLISHMENT BETWEEN HUNAN AND BULACAN. Signifying the sisterhood, Governors Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado of Bulacan and Xu Dazhe of the People’s Government of Hunan Province, P.R. China sign the Letter of Intent on the Establishment of Friendship Relationships between the two provinces held in Leyte and Samar Function Hall, Sofitel Hotel, Pasay City last night wherein future infrastructure development projects are anticipated to be erected in Bulacan that will generate 100,000 job opportunities.

CITY OF MALOLOS – For the purpose of promoting mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese and Filipino people, the Province of Bulacan and the Hunan Province of China signs a letter of intent during the “Signing Ceremony of Letter of Intent on the Establishment of the Friendship Relationships between Hunan Province, P.R. China and Bulacan Province, Philippines” held at the Sofitel Hotel, Pasay City last night.

Both parties agreed to make concerted effort on the basis of equality and mutual benefit to promote people to people friendly context and economic and trade interflow and actively carry out exchanges and cooperation in the field of economy, trade, science and technology, culture, sports, health, education, youth, administration, and the likes.

Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado conveyed his deepest gratitude for the Hunan Province for showing interest in the historic province of Bulacan as a place of their future investment.

“As we continue to pursue our mutual interests, it is necessary that the preponderance of our collective efforts be directed in helping realized the fruition of our economic objectives and amity between our provinces. I can assure that such interest would yield not only reap economic profits but as more importantly, establish a strong bond between your province and ours,” the governor said.

Meanwhile, Governor of the People’s Government of Hunan Province Xu Dazhe pointed out that China and Philippines were able to maintain a very good relationship.

“I like to take this chance to express my wish in the future that we have more communication, and have more platforms in order to push for the economic, trade and development with the Philippine partner. I also would like more cooperation on transportation, agriculture, machinery and equipment manufacturing for the benefit of both the Chinese and the Filipino,” the Hunan Governor said.
