Up Dharma Down parties with Bulakenyos despite heavy rains

CITY OF MALOLOS – No heavy rains can hinder Up Dharma Down (UDD) to continue jamming with thousands of Bulakenyos in a free concert dubbed as “Singkaban Concert” sponsored by Sun LTE held at the Bulacan Sports Complex last night.

Although the weather was good at the beginning of the concert, the rain poured heavy at the middle of the set and Bulakenyos, with or without umbrellas, stayed through the night and chose to enjoy the slow rock music of UDD.

Armi Millari, the vocalist of UDD together with Paul Yap, Ean Mayor, and Carlos Tanada, leveled up the energy of the crowd who were slamming, jumping and dancing with them until their final song.

Prior to this, Migo Adecer, a Kapuso artist who now stars in Ika-5 Utos, serenaded the audience with a few love songs that brought good vibes especially to the teens.
Also, Bulakenyo local bands Deuterium with their lead vocalist Wilson Borlongan and Lunar Lights with their lead vocalist Jose Gaspar also shared their talents and proved that they are really prides of Bulacan.

Moreover, “Pasiklaban sa Singkaban” pushed through immediately after the concert. Three world class producers of pyrotechnics including CPM, Leegendary and Pyrohaven made the rainy weather a colorful show of fireworks that glittered in the night.

Cathleen Dagta from the City of Malolos said that it is always a pleasure seeing the beauty of Bulacan talents.

“Every year, inaabangan po talaga namin ang Singkaban Festival lalo na itong Singkaban Concert at fireworks display. Hindi lang po kasi kami nabibigyan ng pagkakataong makita at marinig tumugtog ‘yung mga sikat na banda, pati po local bands natin, nabibigyan din ng chance na i-promote ang kanilang husay,” Dagta said.
