BULACAN PDRRMO READIES ACTIVITIES FOR FIRE PREVENTION MONTH

CITY OF MALOLOS – The Provincial Government of Bulacan through its Provincial Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) is all set for the observance of Fire Prevention Month this March with the theme “MATUTO KA! Sunog Iwasan Na”.

The fire prevention campaign will kick off with a simultaneous motorcade on the three cities and 21 municipalities of Bulacan on March 1 that will be participated by the Bureau of Fire Protection-Bulacan together with the respective DRRMOs and rescue teams of LGUs.

Also, a provincewide information and Education campaign and a fire safety inspection will be held from March 1-31 at the PGB.

On March 2, the PDRRMO will lead the launching of the Fire Prevention Month coinciding the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in this city at 8:00 in the morning.

Other activities include PGB Safety Marshalls Meeting on March 4, 1pm; PPHO Staff Lactation Management & Gender and Development (GAD) DRR Orientation on March 5 and 6, 8am to 5pm both to be held at the PDRRMO Training Room; Tesda Employees and Students’ Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on March 12, 2pm at the TESDA Guiguinto; PGB’s Fire Orientation on March 14, 9am for the Employees of Redeemer’s Glory Christian Church and Child Development Center in Brgy. San Isidro, Hagonoy; Basic Aquatic/Surface and Swift Water Search and Rescue Training on March 19-22, 8am to 5pm for the Barangay employees of Pulilan; Operation Center Emergency Training/Drill on March 26, 8am for C4 (Communication, Control and Command Center) staff to be held at the PDRRMO Operation Center; and Blood Donation on March 31, 8am for the Responders of LGUs and NGOs at the PDRRMO Training Room.
