Tatak Bulakenyo Singkaban Trade Fair, KADIWA ng Pangulo generate more than P400k in sales
CITY OF MALOLOS – The Tatak Bulakenyo Trade Fair and KADIWA ng Pangulo sa Singkaban Festival, organized by the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (PCEDO) in collaboration with the Provincial Agriculture Office, was a resounding success wherein over the course of three days, from September 9-11, the event held at the PCEDO Parking, Provincial Capitol Compound in this city, generated an impressive total of P440,556.00 in sales.
A total of 61 exhibitors, including Bulakenyo MSEs, Farmer and Fisherfolk Cooperatives and Associations, and KADIWA ng Pangulo through the National Irrigation Administration, participated in the event where they showcased a diverse range of products, highlighting Bulacan’s finest local foods such as vegetables, fruits, and the KADIWA ng Pangulo Diskwento Caravan’s ₱29 per kilo of rice. In addition to agricultural products, the fair also featured crafts and products including delicacies, handicrafts, jewelry, gift items, home and Christmas decorations, footwear, fashion accessories, novelty products, and much more.
The Tatak Bulakenyo Trade Fair and KADIWA ng Pangulo sa Singkaban Festival not only provided a platform for local businesses to showcase their products but also offered attendees the opportunity to support and celebrate the rich cultural heritage and entrepreneurial spirit of Bulacan. This event highlighted the importance of promoting and supporting local enterprises in driving economic growth and fostering community development.
The event commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony officiated by Gov. Daniel R. Fernando, Vice Gov. Alexis Castro, Provincial Administrator Antonia V. Constantino and PCEDO Head Atty. Jayric L. Amil, and representatives from government agencies such as the DTI, DOST, and PIA were also present at the program.
On the third day of the event, PCEDO proudly announced the Top Sellers, which included Florabeths Chicken Galantina for the Food Sector, Jun and Milas Burdahan for the Non-food sector, Milca Mango Graham Shake for the food stall category, and Balaong Vegetable Farmers MPC for the Kadiwa ng Pangulo category.
Meanwhile, the opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the second part of the trade fair held at the Activity Area of Robinsons Place Malolos from September 12-15, 2024, was graced by esteemed guests, among them were OIC Provincial Director Maria Cristina Valenzuela of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bulacan Provincial Office, Regional Marketing Manager Ma. Theresa Gonzales, Senior Mall Manager Gay Gaddi of Robinsons Malolos, President Myta P. Garcia of LBEAI, and owner of Armyth’s International Fashion Design.
The delivery of these exciting and innovative fairs was met with gratitude by Fernando. These fairs offer businesses visibility and availability by bringing Bulakenyo products closer to buyers.
