Fernando inspires Boy/Girl Officials to serve with P.G.B.
CITY OF MALOLOS – Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando gave an inspiring message to Boy/Girl Officials this year as they officially start their roles as counterparts of local elected officials, heads of offices in the Capitol and provincial agencies during the Transfer of Responsibilities and Oath Taking Ceremony of Boy/Girl Officials 2024 coinciding the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at the Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center in this city yesterday.
“Kayo ay naririto dahil may potensyal kayong maging mahuhusay na pinuno. Kaya naman baunin ninyo ang aking munting paalala. Ang pagiging isang epektibong lider ay nasusukat sa kanyang P-G-B: Pag-unawa sa Tungkulin. Aralin nating mabuti ang mga atas sa atin. Pakinggan ang boses ng mamamayan. para tama at angkop rin ang magiging aksyon na gagawin natin; Galing at Tiwala sa Sarili. Ika ‘nga, to achieve anything in life, you must first believe in yourself. With this year’s theme, “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development”, Girl Governor Lian Chariz V. Evangelista of Mataas na Paaralang Carlos F. Gonzales in San Rafael town said the youth in nation building are all now prepared to participate in local governance and play a vital role in public and civic affairs for a more sustainable, and inclusive future for the province.
“May we use this as an opportunity to learn insights on what the government can do for us and what we can do for our government. Sa bawat sandali ng ating pagtitipon, hangad kong makita natin ang ating mga papel sa komunidad kung saan tayo nabibilang, at mahubog ang ating kamalayan bilang mga responsableng mamamayan at lider ng hinaharap”, Evangelista said.
Meanwhile, Girl Vice Governor Aleah Faith Sabio of Virginia Ramirez-Cruz National High School from Pandi is the counterpart of Vice Governor Alexis C. Castro.
The said activities are carried out in conjunction with the celebration of Youth Week and in observance of the International Youth Day wherein the 12th day of August of every year is declared as National Youth Day. ###
