Philippine Commission on Women to conduct Gender and Development Webinar

The Philippine Commission on Women is inviting local government units (Provincial, City and Municipal Levels) to participate in their GAD Webinar entitled “What a GeRL Wants: Gender-Responsive Local Governance” on May 21, 2024, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, via Zoom.

The webinar will introduce a gender analysis tool, the Gender-Responsive Local Government Unit (GeRL) Toolkit, which is specifically designed to assess and enhance the gender-responsiveness of LGUs. This tool also aims to gather data on GAD mainstreaming, serve as a monitoring and evaluation tool, and identifies gaps and strategies for achieving gender-responsive local governance.
