3,314 Bulakenyo students receive educational financial assistance from PGB

CITY OF MALOLOS – The Provincial Government of Bulacan headed by Governor Daniel R. Fernando through the Provincial Administrator’s Office has already released financial assistance for the education of 3,314 qualified Bulakenyo students.

“Sinisikap po natin na maipagkaloob ang tulong pinansiyal sa ating mga qualified at deserving na estudyante sa kabila ng kinakaharap natin na pandemya dahil batid po ng inyong lingkod na malaking tulong ito para matupad ang kanilang mga pangarap. Tulad ni Jose Rizal, naniniwala po ako na ang mga kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan,” Fernando said.

Under the scholarship program dubbed as ‘Tulong Pang-Edukasyon para sa Kabataang Bulakenyo’, the PA’s Office has finished distributing financial assistance to beneficiaries enrolled in private universities and colleges as well as students who are taking their masters.

Three thousand ninety -two students enrolled in private universities and colleges each received P3,500 while 209 masteral students were given P5,000 each. Also, 13 students with academic awards received P5,500 each.

However, Catherine Inocencio, executive assistant III, said that they are still distributing financial assistance to qualified students in senior high school and those enrolled in state universities and colleges including Bulacan Polytechnic College and Bulacan State University.

She added that since June 16 this year, they have been distributing checks to 300 beneficiaries a day in different venues.###
