CITY OF MALOLOS– “Since then, being a Gintong Kabataan ng Bulacan is a symbol of honor of new generations of Bulakenyos who strive to excel in their respective fields while continuously living as a accountable members of society. We are here before our honorable youth who used their talent, resilience, imagination and self-determination to carve lasting change in our nation and to be pillars of inspiration in their chosen field of endeavor.”
This was the message of Gov. Daniel R. Fernando during the Gintong Kabataan Awards 2022 held at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center in this city today.
He also praised the awardees and promised them that he will compensate their valuable contributions by serving the Bulakenyos efficiently.
“Tunay kayong dangal ng magiting na liping Bulakenyo! At bilang ama ng lalawigan, sisikapin kong suklian ang inyong mga ginintuang ambag sa ating lalawigan sa pamamagitan ng patuloy na pangangalaga sa kapakanan at kaligtasan ng bawat Bulakenyo”.
Fernando assured that their success will open more opportunities for the youth, thus paving the way to hone their capabilities, skills and reap more success to better contribute to the society that they live in.
The governor also encouraged them to continue to observe and to take part in the government’s programs that aim to effect change in the community.
“Buhayin ninyo ang nag-aalab na pusong makabayang minana pa ninyo sa ating mga bayani. Sikaping maging bahagi din ng inyong tinatamasang tagumpay ang ating mga maralitang kababayan. Bigyan ninyo ng tinig ang ating mga kapwa Bulakenyo na nabubusalan ang bibig ng takot at diskriminasyon. Maging buhay nawa kayong patunay na ang kabataang Bulakenyo ay hindi kailanman sumusuko sa anumang hamon ng panahon at patuloy na nagpupunyagi gamit ang angking kakayahan at maigting na pananalig sa Diyos bilang sandata,” the governor said.
Meanwhile, the 2022 Gintong Kabataan Awardees include Paulo John M. Rubio of San Miguel for Gintong Kabataan sa Larangan ng Sining at Kultura; Jhenica V. Llarina of Plaridel and Ryan R. Corpuz from the City of Malolos for Gintong Kabataan sa Larangan ng Kagalingang Pang-Akademya at Agham for Secondary and College levels respectively; John Kenneth L. Pagdanganan of Calumpit for Gintong Kabataan sa Larangan ng Paglilingkod Pamayanan-Indibidwal; Zaldy N. Burce, Jr. of Guiguinto (Propesyonal), Jayson Jerald V. Rivera of Balagtas (Skilled Worker) and Marco Rhonel M. Eusebio of the City of Malolos (Government Worker) for Gintong Kabataang Manggagawa; Rogen S. Ladon from Marilao for Gintong Kabataan sa Larangan ng Isports (Indibidwal); Hon. Patrick S. Dela Cruz of City of Malolos for Natatanging SK Federation President and Barangay Longos of City of Malolos for Natatanging SK Barangay Council; Hon. Miguel Alberto T. Bautista from the City Malolos for Gintong Kabataan sa Larangan ng Entreprenyur and Troy Justin P. Agustin of Plaridel for Gintong Kabataang Bayani (Posthumous).
Also, 10 individuals received 2022 Gintong Kabataan Special Citations including Mateo Inigo S. Espocia and Mark Anthony A. Francisco from the City of San Jose del Monte, Lei Andrei M. Navarro from the City of Malolos, Diane A. David and Jhasmine C. Busran of Marilao, JCI Baliwag Buntal and Analyn N. Cundangan of Baliwag, Andrea Lindsay B. Duran of San Ildefonso, Hon. Marbin DJ. Garcia of Bulakan and Kayla Melyn V. Arellano from Guiguinto.
The GKA is a three-decade prestigious award giving program of the Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Provincial Youth, Sports and Public Employment Service Office (PYSPESO) with Gintong Kabataan ng Bulacan Alumni Association (GKBAA). ###
