To provide additional security for the province
Bulacan gov launches bike patrol units

CITY OF MALOLOS – To ensure a safe place for the Bulakenyos, the Provincial Government of Bulacan headed by Governor Daniel R. Fernando launched a total of 80 bike patrol units with helmets and arm sleeves for the Bulacan Police Provincial Office during the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Bulacan PPO Multi-purpose Covered Court and Launching of Bike Patrol at Camp Gen. Alejo S. Santos here earlier today.

The bike patrol units will be used by 144 designated bike patrollers from Bulacan PPO who will rover around their designated areas of duty in the province.

Fernando believes that the bike patrol units will reinforce security and impose order in the communities.

Prior the launching of the bike patrol units, Fernando along with Bulacan Provincial Director PCOL Relly B. Arnedo led the groundbreaking ceremony of the new 540 square meters BPPO Multi-purpose Covered Court to be used for their future activities.

Also, a surprise drug test was conducted yesterday in congruence with the internal cleansing mandate of the Philippine National Police that was participated by 59 personnel from the BPPO including the Chief Intelligence Officer of Bulacan, Chiefs of Police, and Intel Admins of various stations wherein all resulted negative.

Fernando also trusts that all police personnel will perform their duties with integrity.
