CITY OF MALOLOS — A total of 2,200 classrooms and more than 78,000 scholars were among the accomplishments of Gov. Wilhemino M. Sy-Alvarado in terms of education.
In his State of the Province Address (SOPA) held at the Sen. Benigno S. Aquino Jr. Hall, Bulacan Capitol Building in this city yesterday, he reported that said classrooms cost P3.1 billion and were constructed to meet the demands for classrooms in public schools with increasing number of enrollees.
The governor also said the “Tulong Pang-edukasyon Gabay sa Bagong Henerasyon Scholarship Program” never stops in recruiting more scholars to help deserving students to finish their studies and have a bright future ahead of them.
Ailene Mendoza, one of the beneficiaries of the said scholarship program, expressed her gratitude.
Alvarado also said that the Provincial Government of Bulacan will continue to give opportunities to every Bulakenyo who wants to study and improve their lives even if they are in jail.
