Relief goods for typhoon victims in Bulacan continue to pour in
CITY OF MALOLOS- Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando continues to lead the distribution of relief goods and other assistance to typhoon hit towns and cities in the province.
As of December 11, a total of 150,489 families received food packs that include rice, canned goods, noodles and instant coffee that started last October 30, 2020.
The governor said that apart from these, Bulakenyos also received relief goods from private sectors and national agencies.
“We are still repacking and we will continue sending assistance sa lahat ng nasalanta ng bagyo. Dalangin natin na wala nang malalakas na bagyo pang dumating na pipinsala pa sa mga bahay, buhay at kabuhayan natin, at sa darating na Kapaskuhan ay matagpuan natin ang kapayapaan ng puso, mahanap pa rin natin ang kaligayahan sa gitna ng mga dinaranas natin ngayon,” Fernando said.
Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Rowena Joson-Tiongson said that the recipients of the said aids were those affected by typhoons Pepito, Quinta, Rolly and Ulysses.
The beneficiaries were 19,899 families from Calumpit, 10,331 families in San Miguel, 14,413 in Balagtas, 25,330 in Bocaue, 21,162 in Hagonoy, 12,032 in Paombong, 23,748 in the City of Malolos, 10,580 from Bulakan, 2,393 in Bustos, 1,131 from San Ildefonso and 9,470 families in Marilao.
