Bulacan Gov. Daniel R. Fernando leads a cleanup drive at Intercity, Bocaue, Bulacan on Tuesday, together with employees of the Bulacan Environment and Natural Resources Office (BENRO). This is in line with his executive order to remove tarpaulins that are deemed dilapidated, outdated, unmaintained as found on thoroughfares, vacant lots and other public parks or spaces including those mounted on posts and trees, all over the province. Executive Order No. 002-2019 or his own version of ‘anti-epal’ law is in accordance with the Provincial Administrative Code of Bulacan, the purpose of which is to maintain a clean, safe and orderly environment.
