PGB, RLC groundbreak Bulacan Cyberpark and Business District Project

CITY OF MALOLOS- Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado and Vice Gov. Daniel R. Fernando together with Robinsons Land Corporation President and CEO Frederick Go and Senator Cynthia Villar led the groundbreaking ceremony of the Bulacan Cyberpark and Business District Project located at Brgy. Bulihan in this city today.

The soon-to-rise 12-hectare business district will be composed of shopping malls, deluxe hotels. convention center and business process outsourcing (BPO) buildings that are expected to bring thousands of jobs for the Bulakenyos.

Villar congratulated the PGB and RLC for their advantageous project that will be beneficial to the Bulakenyo businesses and entrepreneurs.

“Ninety five percent of all businesses in the Philippines are micro and small enterprises providing 65 percent of employment in the Philippines at ito ang susi para makaahon sa kahirapan ang mga Pilipino. Kaya we need to encourage more people to venture into businesses,” the lady senator said.

Alvarado expressed his happiness over the realization of his dreams for the province of Bulacan that he believed will be continued by Governor-elect Fernando.

“Ito na ang simula ng kalayaan mula sa kahirapan. At itong proyektong ito ay magiging kapaki-pakinabang hindi lamang sa marami ng napakinabangan kundi lalo na sa ating mga kababayang mahihirap,” the governor said.

Meanwhile, Go uttered his gratefulness to be a partner of the province of Bulacan in a world-class and mixed-use development that will erect in the province.

“Itong mga BPO buildings ay mag-attract ng mga American, international business process outsourcing companies such as call centers, transcription companies and third party BPO’s that will provide thousands of jobs to the people of Bulacan, if I may say, these are not ordinary jobs because the jobs that the BPO industry provides are high paying jobs. These are the kind of job that help our people create more skills,” Go said.

Implemented under the Bulacan Public Private Partnership Code through Provincial Ordinance No. 18-2015 and its corresponding implementing ruled and guidelines, the project is one of the program initiatives under the Bulacan Program for Rapid Industrialization and Development (PRIDE), which is an economic program of the PGB that envisions to turn Bulacan, the nation’s gateway to the north, into an engine of economic growth.
