PGB is now ISO certified

CITY OF MALOLOS – The Provincial Government of Bulacan is now International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certified.

Coinciding the “Sabayang Panunumpa sa Tungkulin ng mga Bagong Halal na Opisyal sa Lalawigan ng Bulacan”, Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado and Vice Gov. Daniel R. Fernando received the certificate from Tristan Arwen Loveres, a representative from the TUV Rheinland Philippines, Inc. and ISO Coordinator Jennifer de Leon-Villaroman at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium, in this city yesterday.

“Hindi lahat pinagkakalooban nito, mabibilang mo lang kasi palaging mataas ang standard, malaking hamon ‘yan to do better, our better or may not be the answer, we should do the best na maipagkakaloob natin sa ating pamayanan,” Alvarado said.

The governor also said that it is a challenge for the employees to strive more.
“Pag tinatamad ka na hindi na maganda ang quality ng production mo pero kung may mga hamon, ‘yung mga leader lumilitaw ‘yan sa panahon ng may hamon. Natutulog din ‘yan pag walang hamon at katulad ng din sa ISO, babawiin ‘yan pag nakita ka na maayos ka nung inspection lang pero later on hindi naman pala,” Alvarado added.

Loveres said ISO is a world class standard where organizations who comply with it assure its customer of a consistent delivery of quality services.

“Also, it’s about ensuring customer satisfaction, in this case the constituents of the province of Bulacan, as we all know the quality initiatives without management support is difficult,” Loveres said.
