PGB honors exceptional Bulakenyo artists in Kislap ng Sining sa Bulacan 2019

CITY OF MALOLOS – Seven individuals and five groups of talented Bulakenyo artists were honored as the Provincial Government of Bulacan through its Provincial History, Arts, Culture and Tourism Office staged the “Kislap ng Sining sa Bulacan 2019” held at the Nicanor Abelardo Auditorium in this city yesterday.

Awardees of Kislap ng Sining sa Bulacan sa Larangan ng Musika include Dannah Alexa Garcia and Mardy Maye Lising from the City of San Jose del Monte; Ma. Shanaine Lopez and Shannon Joseph Lopez from Pulilan; Nhar Kenjie de Jesus from Hagonoy; and DYCI Dagalak from Bocaue.

Also, the Kislap ng Sining sa Bulacan sa Larangan ng Pelikula were given to Julius Erman “Empoy” Marquez from Baliwag, Luis Custodio IV from Bulakan and the BulSU Cinephilia from the City of Malolos; while FCPC Baliktanaw and Kenyo Street Fam from the San Jose del Monte and Bulacan Ballet & Arts Academy from Guiguinto received the Kislap ng Sining sa Bulacan sa Larangan ng Pagsayaw.

In his message delivered by Provincial Administrator Eugenio C. Payongayong, Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado congratulated the awardees for championing their craft and excelling in their respective fields.

“Sa lahat ng mga Bulakenyo na alagad ng sining na kikilalanin sa araw na ito, kayo po ang mga makina na hiyas na patuloy na nagpapakislap at pumapalamuti sa putong ng kadakilaan ng lalawigan ng Bulacan. Hangad po naming patuloy ninyong maihayag sa inyong mga katha at kahusayan ang kadakilaan at kabutihan ng Panginoong Diyos,” the governor said.

Meanwhile, Custodio, one of the awardees, thanked the PGB for recognizing Bulakenyo artists who excel not only nationwide but also worldwide.

“Ang pagkilalang ito ay magsisilbing inspirasyon upang lalo pa naming mapalawig at mapaghusayan ang sining na bigay ng Maykapal. At dahil dito, sa lahat ng aming gagawin at anuman ang aming marating, ang Inang Lalawigang Bulacan ay aming dadakilain,” Custodio said.

The Kislap ng Sining sa Bulacan recognizes the contribution of Bulakenyo artists who demonstrated their outstanding talents in the field of arts and culture.

It gives acknowledgement to talented Bulakenyos who won in national awards, mavens who are given recognition in different field of arts or those who brought home international awards in 2018.
