PGB, DOLE to conduct job fairs
CITY OF MALOLOS – The Provincial Government of Bulacan in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Office III will hold its annual job fairs in three different locations in Bulacan in line with the Labor Day celebration.
Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado invites all Bulakenyo fresh graduates and job seekers to go to SM Event’s Center in Baliwag and Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in the City of Malolos on May 1, 2016, from 8:00 am to 3:00 in the afternoon for employment opportunities that are aligned to their skills and educational attainment.
Another job fair will also be held at the Municipal Building of Marilao on May 3, 2016 also from 8:00 am to 3:00 in the afternoon.
“We welcome all applicants in this big career fair wherein we target a good result in “hired on the spot for them,” Alvarado said.
The said fair will connect more or less 50 hiring companies (local and overseas) from various industries including Business Processing Outsourcing (BPOs), Malls, Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Retail, Services, Manufacturing Firms, Health Care, among others with qualified and professional job seekers from the province.
Applicants are advised to bring credentials or all the necessary documents and extra copies for multiple job applications such as resume or curriculum vitae with 2×2 ID pictures, valid IDs, certificate of trainings and certificate of employment, diploma and/or transcript of records, etc.
Bulakenyo youth and students will also be able to explore future jobs or career opportunities in the labor market through the assistance of Public Employment Service Office (PESO).
According to DOLE, the said Labor Day job fairs, which are anchored on the theme, “Kinabukasan Sigurado sa Disenteng Trabaho,” are open to all unemployed, skilled and unskilled workers, fresh college graduates, graduates of training institutions, displaced workers and employees seeking career advancement.
