PGB acknowledges Bulakenyo talent, shines a spotlight on competition winners

CITY OF MALOLOS – In a dazzling display of talent and intellect, Bulacan has once again proven itself to be the home of excellence.

During the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony on June 2 at The Pavilion Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center, the Provincial Government of Bulacan took a moment to shine the spotlight on the remarkable Bulakenyos who have made waves in various national competitions.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando and Vice Governor Alexis C. Castro were on hand to present certificates of recognition to the province’s local champions. Among the honorees were Andy Mendiamar, who snagged the title of Face of the Year at the King of the World Philippines pageant; Paul John Galang, crowned King of the World Philippines Supermodel; Khryss Nicole Go, the Grand Winner of Miss Chinatown 2025; and Mark Lawrence Mariñas, a standout candidate in Mister Homeland Philippines.

The Provincial History, Arts, Culture, and Tourism Office also recognized Virgilio Laggii, a national awardee of Gawad Dakilang Pilipino; Rachelle Baldomaro, who earned the Muse of Music title and the Outstanding Women Achievers Award; and Katherine Ramos, who triumphed at the National Festival of Talents.

Also, the musical maestros from Partida Elementary School, who were celebrated for their championship victory at the 6th Drum and Bell Corps Organization of the Philippines Inc. National Competition, were recognized wherein Rocky Isanan was also named Best Conductor.

In his closing remarks, Fernando extended heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting Bulakenyos, especially the youth.

“Napakahuhusay, tanggapin ninyo ang maalab na pagbati mula sa ating Pamahalaang Panlalawigan para sa pagbibigay karangalan sa atin. Hayaan ninyo po’t patuloy po nating susuportahan lalo ang mga kabataan sa pag-abot ng kanilang mga pangarap,” he said.
