CITY OF MALOLOS- Living dioramas portraying Christmas stories on carriages and the lighting of the 20-foot giant Christmas tree are set to make the Bulakenyos feel the spirit of Christmas in the upcoming “Pag-iilaw ng Krismas Tree at Parada ng Bulacan Christmas Carrosa” on November 29, 2019, 6pm at the Bulacan Military Area Memorial Park in front of the capitol building in this city.
At 5:30 p.m., a concert featuring Bulakenyo talents including the Hiyas ng Bulacan Brass Band, BulSU Saring Himig, Barasoain Camerata, Koro del Pilar, Hiyas ng Hagonoy Folkloric Group, BulSU Lahing Kayumanggi Dance Troupe, Lara Lavinia Bayani, Hannah Osorio, Kael Vicente and Albert Aguilar will entertain Bulakenyos while waiting for the eight Bulacan Christmas Carrosas that will start parading from the Basilica Minore to the Bulacan Capitol.
Meanwhile, the official program for the lighting of the giant Krismas Tree topped with a star made out of Singkaban and Surrounded by colorful lights and lanterns will start at 6pm to symbolize Bulakenyos’ arts and culture.
Governor Daniel R. Fernando invites Bulakenyos to attend and witness the start of a joyful celebration of the most awaited season of the year.
“Iba talaga ang Pasko nating mga Pilipino, lalo na ang mga Bulakenyo. Puno ng makukulay na dekorasyon, kumukutitap na mga ilaw, sayawan, kantahan at lahat ng klase ng kasiyahan. Huwag lamang nating kalimutan na ang tunay na diwa ng Pasko ay ang pagbibigayan at pagmamahal sa ating mga pamilya,” the governor said.
