Pag-IBIG Fund cites PGB as Top Government Employer in North Luzon

CITY OF MALOLOS – The Provincial Government of Bulacan headed by Governor Daniel R. Fernando was hailed as one of the ‘Top Government Employers’ in entire North Luzon during the 1st Virtual Stakeholders Accomplishment Report (StAR) Awards held through an online convention last Friday, November 27, 2020.

The online event highlights the achievements of its stakeholders in year 2019 and featured the reports of the stable state of Pag-IBIG Fund this year in each area in the country amid the challenges brought by the pandemic.

According to Provincial Administrator Eugenio Payongayong, the PGB was recognized for its significant contribution to the continued success of the Fund that allowed them to reach their record-high achievements in 2019, which so far stands the best year for them and for being one of the best performing employers in the government sector along with the City Government of Mabalacat and Provincial Government of Pampanga.

Fernando said that the PGB is striving hard to comply and pay the contributions on time and assured that the Provincial Government will continue conducting programs that will help with regard its performance.

“Nagsusumikap ang Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Bulacan upang maka-comply sa pagbibigay ng ating mga kontribusyon nang naaayon. Atin pong ipagpapatuloy ang mga magagandang hakbangin nang sa gayon ay maging maayos ang ating pagganap sa Pag-IBIG Fund,” the governor said.

Aside from top employers, Pag-IBIG Fund also recognized other stakeholders under the category of collection agencies, developers and stakeholders with special awards in North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and NCR.

The PGB was also named as top employer in the government sector last year along with the Provincial Governments of Pangasinan and Pampanga.
