CITY OF MALOLOS – The emergency response team of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO)- Bulacan Rescue including all the local government units of the province are all set for ‘Oplan Kaluluwa’ in line with the
observance of All Souls’ Day on November 1.
According to Malou Tapican, head of the PDRRMO Operation and Warning Division, a memorandum was already sent to all local chief executives in Bulacan that orders strict compliance and participation to ‘Oplan Kaluluwa’.
Before the said date, there will be five teams headed by members of the Bulacan Rescue that will visit all municipalities in the province to conduct an actual check on the emergency response teams.
A first aid station will be set up in front of the Capitol on October 30 until November 3, in time for the resume of school classes.
Further, the said office has already coordinated with different Non-Government Organizations (NGO) including Rescue 117 and Rescue 247.
Meanwhile, acting Governor Daniel Fernando told that the concern authorities were already alerted to ensure the safety of all Bulakenyos and other motorists.
“Hangad ko ang kaligtasan ng bawat isang bibiyahe para sa mataimtim at makabuluhang pag-oobserba sa Araw ng mga Kaluluwa”, Fernando said.
Also, Bulacan Rescue has posted in their Facebook page the safety tips and reminders on observance of All Souls’ Day including calling to Bulacan Rescue hotline number 791-0566 in case of emergency.
