ON TIME BULAKENYO TAXPAYERS TO RECEIVE DISCOUNTS

CITY OF MALOLOS – In accordance with the law, discounts will be given to Bulakenyos with real properties in the Province of Bulacan if they will pay the right amount of their real property tax on or before the deadline.

Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando said that the law states that those who will pay their real property tax on time will have 10 percent discount while taxpayers who will pay in advance will receive 15 percent discount.

“Samantalahin po natin ang oportunidad na ito. Nakaiwas na kayo sa multa at abala, may diskuwento pa kayong makukuha,” Fernando said.

In the announcement made by the Provincial Treasurer’s Office, the deadline for settling the Real Property Tax is on March 31, 2020 (First Quarter -January until March); June 30, 2020 (Second Quarter-April until June); September 30, 2020 (Third Quarter-July until September) and December 31, 2020 (Fourth Quarter-October until December).

For other tax, the due dates are on or before January 31 for the payment of Professional Tax, on or before the 15th day of each month for the Amusement Tax, on or before January 20 or within the 20 days of January every year for the tax on Printing and Publication and on or before January 20 for the Tax on Delivery Van and Truck.

The governor added, “ang pagbabayad ng buwis o tax na naaayon sa itinakda ng batas ay obligasyon ng isang mamamayan at ito ay dapat lang na bayaran para sa ikauunlad ng lalawigan at bansa. Malaki ang naitutulong ng mga nakokolektang buwis para matugunan ng pamahalaan ang iba’t ibang mga pagawain at pangangailangan ng mga mamamayan.”
