Nominations for Gawad Singkaban now open

CITY OF MALOLOS- The search for the next tourism icon of Bulacan is now on going as the Provincial Government of Bulacan (PGB) through its Provincial History, Arts, Culture and Tourism Office (PHACTO) opens the nomination for this year’s Gawad Singkaban.

Until June 30, 2019, PHACTO will accept nominations on eight categories including Natatanging Pook sa Pagpapaunlad ng Turismo, Natatanging Restawran, Natatanging Travel Agency, Natatanging Hotel o Resort, Natatanging Tourism Officer, Natatanging Tour Guide, Natatanging Agri-Tourism and Most Supportive Media Award on Television.

Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado encourages Bulakenyos to patronize Bulacan’s own products and services that enlivens the province’s abundant history and culture.

“Hindi na natin kailangang lumayo pa dahil ang ating minamahal na lalawigan ay hitik sa magagandang tanawin, masasarap na pagkain at katangi-tanging mga produkto na dinadayo pa ng mga dayuhan dito sa ating bayan kaya naman tayo rin ay kailangang sumuporta sa mga ito,” the governor said.
