“No fund drive for BMC” – Medical Director of BMC
CITY OF MALOLOS – As opposed to what is published on Philippine Daily Inquirer online that the Bulacan Medical Center badly needs personal protective equipment (PPEs), BMC Medical Director Dr. Dave Rawland Domingo cleared that there is no fund drive for the provincial hospital.
In his statement published on his personal Facebook account, Domingo said the problem of scarcity of PPEs is global and they are managing things in the BMC to the best of their abilities.
The medical director also refuted the circulating private messages gathering funds to buy PPEs for the Bulacan hospital.
He added that the Provincial Government of Bulacan has already procured P14 million worth of PPEs.
“The hospital has the support of Governor Daniel Fernando, VG Willy Sy- Alvarado, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and the Provincial Government,” wrote Domingo.
He also mentioned that some socio civic groups have already pledged support and they welcome them in the hospital, and said that they are avoiding exploitation.
