CITY OF MALOLOS - As a way of showing support to preserve planet Earth, the Provincial Government of Bulacan through the Bulacan Environment and Natural Resources Office (BENRO) will conduct a clean-up drive at Brgy. Sto. Rosario, Paombong as well as tree planting and growing activity at the Paombong Eco Park, San Isidro II, Paombong, Bulacan tomorrow at 7 am.

The staff of BENRO will be joined by the staff of MENRO Paombong to help them with the clean-up drive wherein a total of 100 fruit-bearing trees will be planted inside the eco park.

Meanwhile, Governor Daniel R. Fernando encourages the Bulakenyos to utilize the 4Rs of waste management and expresses his willingness to implement more programs to contribute in the preservation and conservation of natural resources for future generations.

Earth Day is an annual event observed on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection and is widely recognized as the largest secular observance in the world. ###
