Bulacan administers 2 million COVID-19 vaccines

CITY OF MALOLOS- The Province of Bulacan has administered a total of 2,009,498 doses of COVID-19 vaccines according to the report of the Provincial Health Office-Public Health as of October 25, 2021.

From this number, 1,123,117 doses are administered for the 1st dose, and 886,381 are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Fully vaccinated individuals comprised 34 percent of the 70% eligible population of 15 years old and above in the province.

The report also shows that Bulacan has received a total of 2,753,790 doses of COVID-19 vaccines wherein 1,357,646 were Sinovac, 209,340 were AstraZeneca, 716,040 were Pfizer, 113,500 were Janssen, 272,984 were Moderna, and 84,280 were Sinopharm.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando reminded the Bulakenyos to never let their guard down and to continue following the minimum public health protocols to be able to stay away from the deadly virus.

"Patuloy po tayong mag-ingat. Gumamit pa rin po tayo ng face mask at face shield, dahil sabi nga po ng Department of Health, kahit vaccinated na tayo, maaari pa rin tayong tamaan ng COVID-19," the governor said during the Distribution of Financial Assistance to Victims of Typhoon Ulysses held at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in this city yesterday.
