CITY OF MALOLOS- One person vaccinated against COVID-19 is a step closer to achieving herd immunity in the country.
This is the general reminder of the Bulacan Provincial Health Office-Public Health as they promote online registration in their official Facebook account and during the conduct of COVID-19 vaccination in different sites dubbed as 'Bulacan Accelerated Vaccine Roll-out'.

Online registration links for COVID-19 vaccination for priority groups A1 to A5 or frontliners, senior citizens, persons with co-morbidities, indigent population and uniform personnel of all the cities and municipalities in the province of Bulacan are posted in their official Facebook account https://www.facebook.com/PHOBulacan.

Moreover, Gov. Daniel R. Fernando strongly encourages Bulakenyos to get vaccinated so as to protect not only themselves but also their families and those who are around them as well.

"Hindi po namin kayo pinipilit na magpabakuna but we are highly recommending that you get vaccinated. It is free and it is for your protection lalo na ngayon na nandito na ang Delta higit na nakakahawa," Fernando shared.

The governor also asked for Bulakenyos' cooperation and patience while waiting for vaccines.

According to the World Health Organization, vaccines are a critical tool in the battle against COVID-19, and getting vaccinated is one of the best ways to protect yourself and others.

The WHO also clarified in their website that most people who are infected with SARS-CoV2, the virus that causes COVID-19, develop an immune response but should still get vaccinated because it acts as a booster that strengthens the immune response. ###
