CITY OF MALOLOS- As of June 28, 2021, a total of 283,487 COVID-19 vaccines were administered to Bulakenyos from the 367,428 total doses of vaccines that the province has received.

Out of the 367,428 doses, 95% or 222,963 received their first dose while 60,524 or 28% are now fully vaccinated after receiving their second dose.

Also, 98% or 361,884 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been distributed to vaccination sites all over the province.

Bulacan Gov. Daniel Fernando explained that as the vaccines arrive, the province immediately assigns a venue and schedules the vaccination.

Meanwhile, during the Virtual Media Conference held yesterday via Google Meet, Patricia Ann Alvaro, Health Education and Promotion Officer from the Provincial Health Office - Public Health, reported the current status of vaccination in Bulacan.

Alvaro explained that because Bulacan is in the "bubble", which is the national government's priority due to high cases, the target for vaccination is also high and that in the last 10 days, the average daily doses administered is 83,621. However, it should be noted that the province is depending on the supply of vaccines from the national government.

As of June 30, 2021, the Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit, reported a total of 39,428 Confirmed cases where 37,965 (93%) have shown recovery and 599 (5%) are still in isolation and are monitored in the hospitals and in their respective homes while 864 have died. ###
