Fernando.

According to the over-all readiness assessment presented by Dr. Hjordis Marushka Celis, Provincial Health Officer II, Bulacan Medical Center have already accomplished 69% of the plan including the thematic areas on planning, coordination and financing; budgeting; prioritization and targeting; service delivery; training; monitoring/supervision; vaccines, cold chain and logistics; safety surveillance and response; demand generation, social mobilization and communication.

Dra. Celis also presented the feedback report from the previous simulation exercise to the DOH representatives to properly address shortcomings experienced during the exercise.

Furthermore, Dra. Leilani Mangunlaban, DOH Chief of Local Health Support Division, commended the progress of the province in terms of preparing the microplan for vaccination.

She also commended the communication plan prepared by the province.

"I would also like to commend the province for having a very good plan for communication to address vaccine hesitancy and promote vaccine confidence. Magandang foundation po ang magandang communication plan for this vaccination program," she added.

Meanwhile, Fernando told the DOH that the PGB is open to any recommendation that may improve the province's vaccination plan.

Tulong-tulong po tayo," the governor said.

The PGB is continuously conducting orientations to different sectors and organizations in the province for the demand generation communication and implementation plan to further help the province educate the Bulakenyos. ###
