Fernando expresses gratitude to Bulakenyo frontliners

CITY OF MALOLOS - On behalf of more than three million Bulakenyos, Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the frontliners who continue to compromise their lives in the service of their fellow constituents during these trying times.

“Salamat sa ating mga medical frontliners, mga doktor at nurses, medical technologists at medical staff, sa ating magigiting na kapulisan at mga sundalo na 24/7 na nagbabantay sa ating mga checkpoint para sa mahigpit na pagpapatupad ng Enhanced Community Quarantine,” Fernando said.

The governor also acknowledged the efforts of all the LGUs who still go to work and make themselves available to serve.

“Sa pamumuno ng ating mga mayors, vice mayors, sangguniang barangay; sa ating magigiting na kapitan, mga kagawad, sa mga tanod , Mother Leaders, LLN, Barangay Health Workers at mga tagapaglinis ng kapaligiran; ang mga food providers, botika at ang kanilang mga essential employees na patuloy na pumapasok upang matugunan ang ating mga pangunahing pangangailangan, you are all heroes,” the local chief executive said.

Fernando said that he is proud and grateful to all the frontliners for their sacrifices and dedication.

“Walang hanggan ang pasasalamat namin sa inyo dahil pinakikita n’yo na ngayon pinahalagahan n’yo ito ng higit pa sa inyong pansariling kaligtasan at kami ay nagpupugay sa inyong kabayanihan,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Provincial Government of Bulacan received 100 personal protective equipment (PPE) from the Philippine Plastic Industry Association (PPIA) yesterday.

In addition, the PGB also distributed 14,000 live chickens to each household in Paombong town today.

As of 4 pm yesterday, Bulacan PHO COVID-19 Surveillance Team reported 100 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 22 deaths while four has recovered.
