Friday, 17 October 2014
CITY OF MALOLOS – Possible business opportunities await the local entrepreneurs in Bulacan as the Provincial Government of Bulacan and Federation of Philippine-American Chamber of Commerce hold the Central Luzon Leg of US Trade and Investment Mission meeting on Sunday, October 19, 2014, 3 pm at BarCIE International Center in La Consolacion University, this city.

The gathering aims to promote Bulacan to the US business community, thereby creating business matching opportunities with the province’s local entrepreneurs.
Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado said this is one step to having strong linkages with other countries.

“The province has a lot of potentials; we have a lot to offer. Kaya pinaglalaanan natin ng panahon ang mga ganitong bagay dahil tulad ng mga iba pang programa at proyekto ng pamahalaan, ang pakikipagkaibigan ay isang investment, pinaghihirapan, pinahahalagahan, sa huli lahat tayo makikinabang,” Alvarado explained.

The FPACC which also promotes goodwill and mutual beneficial projects between the two countries is composed of a 50-man delegation with interest in business matching and networking with local entrepreneurs and businessmen on various industries such as real estate and handicrafts among others.

Also, a signing of memorandum of cooperation as a testimony to the strengthening agreement between the US and Philippine investors and businessmen will be held.

The event is made possible through the cooperation of the Regional Development Council, National Economic Development Authority with the Department of Trade and Industry, Central Luzon Growth Corridor Foundation Inc. and the Bulacan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. ###
