CITY OF MALOLOS – The celebration of Hakbang Para sa Kabataan held this morning at the Capitol Mini Forest in this city was filled with pieces of good advice and inspirational messages from the guests including Technical Skills and Development Authority Sec. Joel Villanueva.

The TESDA secretary said the youth possesses the blood of a hero therefore they should live it by being productive.

Meanwhile, Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado said this activity is for the benefit of the out of school youth and continuous improvement of the sports development program of the Bulakenyo athletes.

The governor also hopes that more youth will be encouraged to join worthy activities such as this.

Included in the thousands who have participated in the fun walk and short program were TESDA Directors from Central Luzon, Public Employment Services Office Managers from different town and cities in Bulacan, some officers of other government agencies like Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of the Interior and Local Government, and Department of Education, president of the Bulacan Sports Council Federation Inc. Dr. Danilo Faustino, president of the Provincial Youth Association Provincial Federation Mar Dela Cruz, and students from different high schools in Bulacan.

Aside from the raffle, five negosyo carts with entrePYAP trademark were given to the presidents of Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines.

According to Provincial Youth, Sports, Employment, Arts, Culture, and Tourism Officer Elizabeth Alonzo, there are 10 more carts to be given to other beneficiaries.

More fun and excitement added to the activity when Ken Chan, Sanya Lopez, and Jack Roberto from the GMA Artist Center graced the event and rendered songs. ###
