Tuesday, 27 May 2014
CITY OF MALOLOS – “Always be an officer of the law.”

This was the statement of Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado as he urged the Philippine National Police (PNP) Region 3 to strengthen its campaign against criminalities yesterday at San Fernando, Pampanga.

Alvarado, the appointed Chairman of the Regional Advisory Council (RAC) said that it is evident that security is one of the crucial concerns of the society and the end of war against criminalities rest on the cooperation between the military and efforts from the local government units.

“Kaakibat ng ating tungkulin ang hamon na lalo pang pag-ibayuhin ang ating trabaho at maging masigasig pang tupdin ang ating agenda ng pagbabago at paglaban sa kriminalidad sa ating rehiyon,” said Alvarado.

Meanwhile, Police Regional Director Chief Supt. Raul Delfin Pentrasanta salutes Alvarado for the support and cooperation of RAC in the implementation of Integrated Transformation Program-Performance Governance System that aims to make good governance a shared responsibility between the PNP and the stakeholders.

RAC is composed of prominent personalities in Central Luzon with a common goal to further sustain and improve the PNP Peace and Order Agenda with deeper commitment in curbing criminality in the region.

“If we do work toward the realization of this hope and find ways that may transform the way we understand others, we achieve peace as it is the first necessity of human progress,” the governor said. ###
